The GLP warehouse is of the overhead crane type and comprises a motor-driven carriage sliding on air rails along the extension of a warehouse. The motor-driven carriage has two opposed side posts which are connected together by a first orthogonal support crossbar which supports pick up means adapted to selectively pick up the glass sheets.
